Double Chocolate Biscotti



Enjoy the rich flavors of double chocolate in these crunchy biscotti cookies. Perfect for dipping into your favorite hot beverage!

Ingredients:

  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350F 175C

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt

In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy

Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined

Fold in the semisweet chocolate chips and white chocolate chips

Divide the dough in half

On the prepared baking sheet, shape each half into a log about 12 inches long and 2 inches wide, spacing them apart

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the logs are firm to the touch

Remove from the oven and let the logs cool for 15 minutes

Reduce the oven temperature to 325F 160C

Using a sharp knife, carefully slice the logs on the diagonal into 1/2-inch thick biscotti

Place the biscotti cut side up on the baking sheet and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until they are crisp

Remove from the oven and let the biscotti cool completely on a wire rack

Christmas Penguin Cakesicle Recipe



With this fun and easy recipe, you can make adorable penguin-themed cakesicles for Christmas. These treats are ideal for holiday parties and kid-friendly gatherings!

Ingredients:

  • 1 box of chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 cup of chocolate frosting
  • Black and white candy melts
  • Orange candy melts
  • Small candy eyes
  • Lollipop sticks

Instructions:

Follow the directions on the box to bake the chocolate cake

After the cake has cooled down, break it up into small pieces

Add the chocolate frosting and mix until the mixture is like dough

Make oval shapes out of the dough to look like penguins

The heads should also be oval

Use different bowls to melt the black and white candy melts

Cover the penguins' bodies with black candy melts, leaving a white oval space for the stomach

Use the white candy melts to cover the penguin heads

While the candy coating is still wet, put the heads on the bodies

Melt the orange candy melts and cut them into triangle shapes to make the beaks

Put the candy eyes and beaks on the heads of the penguins

Lollypop sticks should be put into the bottoms of the penguin bodies

Put the popsicles on a baking sheet and put them in the fridge until the candy coating sets

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cooked cauliflower florets
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons water or as needed

Instructions:

Let cauliflower cool after you steam or boil it until it's soft

Cauliflower, tahini, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper should all be put into a food processor

Add water as needed to get the consistency you want and blend until smooth

Vegan Chana Makhani



Vegan Chana Makhani is a delightful twist on the classic Indian dish, featuring creamy coconut milk and aromatic spices. It's hearty, flavorful, and perfect for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup dried chickpeas, soaked overnight
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup tomato puree
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped cilantro for garnish

Instructions:

If you soaked chickpeas, drain and rinse them

Put the vegetable oil in a large pot and heat it over medium-low heat

Put in the chopped onion and cook for about 5 minutes, until it gets soft

Add the ginger and garlic that have been chopped up, and cook for two more minutes

Put in the cayenne pepper, ground cumin, ground coriander, ground turmeric, and ground cumin

Stir the food all the time for one minute

Add the coconut milk and tomato puree

Mix things together well

Put the chickpeas that have been soaked into the pot and stir them around to cover them with the sauce

Turn down the heat and let the mixture simmer for a while

Place a lid on top and cook for one to one and a half hours, or until the chickpeas are soft

Add salt to your liking

Add chopped cilantro as a garnish before serving

Apple Ribbons with Basil Pesto

Ingredients:

  • 2 large apples, cored and thinly sliced into ribbons
