Ingredients:
- 2 large apples, cored and thinly sliced into ribbons
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves
- 1/4 cup raw walnuts
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Put basil leaves, walnuts, garlic, and nutritional yeast in a food processor and blend them together
Pulse until the food is very small
Pour the olive oil and lemon juice into the food processor while it's running
Keep going until a smooth pesto forms
Add pepper and salt to taste
